Laboratory state

The figures above are split by source, not by realness. Real figures are computed from the laboratory’s content registries at build time — counts of things that actually exist. Population figures come from the Genesis-Live universe, and what the site verifies itself is bounded: the world state is resumed from the observer’s own checkpoint and re-hashed against the hash the observer publishes for it, and every event after that checkpoint is re-hashed against the run’s chain here. The Evidence panel above states the exact range. Nothing reads LIVE without it; otherwise the population is marked STALE, SYNCING or OFFLINE. Only when the observer cannot be reached at all does this section fall back to a labeled simulation of the lab’s working structure — everything from that fallback carries an [SIM] mark.
